CORONAVIRUS/COVID 19 GUIDANCE

For detailed up-to-date guidance on what to do – for example tips on how to ‘self-isolate’, travel advice, or help for businesses go to the official Government website here.

At a local level Hucclecote Parish Council is doing its best to respond responsibly by introducing the following measures:

• We are advising all regular users of the Hall (especially those that have older or vulnerable members) to cancel their bookings (we will ‘hold’ your regular slot in our timetable, and not charge you until your booking restarts)
• We are co-ordinating volunteers to help those who are self-isolating. If you want to volunteer to support vulnerable local people close to where you live, contact Cheryl on 07812 830 196 (ideally by text) with name, full address and indicate if you can drive. The volunteering involves popping a leaflet through your close neighbours’ letterboxes and then offering to help them by occasionally picking up their groceries, helping with errands or giving them a friendly phone call.
• Our parish clerk will continue to work at Pineholt Village Hall, but she won’t be able to deal face-to-face with members of the public. Phone or email her (weekday mornings) – her contact details are 07716 122319 or hucclecotepc@supanet.com

Our Play Area on Bird Road is closed until further notice.

Please remember to stay home and only go outside for food, health reasons or for work. If you do go out, stay at least 2 metres away from other people and wash your hands when you get home. Do not meet others even friends or family.

We will review and update this guidance regularly
