Neighbourhood Watch Message From Bob Lloyd

Between 5pm on the 23rd December and 4pm on the 24th December there was a spate of theft from motor vehicles in the Hucclecote and Abbeymead areas of Gloucester.

· In Oakwood Drive, a Kia was entered possible by an insecure door, a messy search was conducted and a wallet containing cash and cards was taken.
·In Pippin Close, a Renault car had the driver-side door forced. An untidy search was conducted but nothing was taken.
· In Minerva Close, a Volkswagen car was broken into overnight. There was no visible damage to the vehicle, and a small amount of cash was taken.
·In Discovery Road, overnight access was made to a BMW vehicle parked on a driveway. There was no apparent damage to the vehicle. A coat was taken from the vehicle but this was subsequently found discarded.
· A Satnav and rucksack were taken from an unlocked VW vehicle parked at Chosen View Cottages.

Where possible please make sure your vehicle is locked at all times and remember to remove cash, wallets, handbags, phones, computer equipment and any other items of value. Only leave valuables in the boot if there is no alternative.
