During December the Joint Core Strategy (JCS) was approved by all three Councils. Cheltenham, Gloucester and Tewkesbury. This now is a document which can be used to help build the necessary homes required in our area and the places in which we want them to be built.
Tewkesbury is also undertaking it’s own plan which will work with the JCS to ensure that, we as a Borough get the type of housing we require in our areas.
The Waste and Recycling is still very good for Tewkesbury and I would ask all residents to recycle as much as they can in the blue bin. If you require another blue bin as you manage to fill your one bin, these can be ordered direct from the Borough Customer Services on 01684 295010.
You can also use this number for any enquiries you may have about the Borough’s services including reporting dog fouling, fly tipping, etc. There are also on line forms which can be completed. These can be found on the web site: Tewkesbury Borough.
I am aware, through the Parish Council, of all the issues regarding parking and the lighting of roads on Coopers Edge. Unfortunately, these are issues which I cannot help with as this is dealt with through the Business Park and County Council. I do wish as you do, to get these issues sorted out.
