This is to advise that the microsurfacing of Ermin Road scheduled to start today has been pushed back to early May.

This delay is due to a number of issues including utility works at the south east end of the site.  Microsurfacing is now scheduled to go ahead on Ermin Street from the junction with Green Street up to the M5 motorway bridge (excluding the bypass roundabout) on 2nd-6th May.  To minimise disruption this will be done using Stop/Go boards between 9.30am and 15.30pm, avoiding peak travel times.

The microsurfacing schedule is published online at www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/roadmaintenance and updated regularly, as microsurfacing is highly weather dependent and dates often change at short notice.  Please keep an eye out for local signage and check for updates online and on our social media feeds:

The south eastern section of Ermin Road from the Green Street junction to the A46 roundabout will be subject to remedial works later this year.  This will include addressing the rutted surface at the bus stops, adjusting the levels of the pedestrian crossing and resurfacing the braking zone for the A46 roundabout.

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this change has caused.
